Who is US

About our CEO, Clinical Director and Founding Partner

Heather received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Connecticut. She went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Special Education, with a focus on Autism, from Cambridge College. She is a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Connecticut with over 15 years of experience working with individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.

In 2016, she received the Rachel D’Avino Outstanding Student Award granted by the Connecticut Association for Behavior Analysis. It was an award Heather was “truly honored” to receive as it memorializes the extraordinary educator, Rachel D’Avino, who was an ABA student at the time she gave everything, including her life, to save her students at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012.

Heather additionally has over 10 years of experience working with teens and young adults in group homes and residential facilities with dual diagnoses of Autism and Intellectual Disabilities as well as those with emotional and behavioral disturbances. Heather specializes in providing in-home and Email Number center-based individualized ABA treatments for individuals from birth to 21 years old.

Her passion in the field of ABA lies in staff development and parent education. She enjoys public speaking and disseminating information on autism awareness and acceptance, advocacy information for parents, and discussing ABA interventions and principles in everyday language. Heather often encourages parents and staff to offer thoughts and insight when developing programs and encourages everyone on the team to ask as many questions as they need to understand ABA strategies. She intends to answer all questions with an open, honest, and judgment-free response.

She is a lifelong resident of Watertown, CT and graduate of Watertown High School. She married her husband, Keith, a paramedic, in 2017. Together they have 2 children. A son, Rowan, born in 2018, and a daughter, Saoirse, born in 2024. They live in Watertown with their dog, Odin, as well as their 2 cats, Oreo and Salem.

Heather is the founder and clinical force behind Quad ABA, a practice built to challenge the status quo of traditional ABA services. A seasoned BCBA with over a decade of experience, she has led teams, trained BT’s, RBT’s, new BCBA’s, and supported hundreds of families — all while asking one essential question: Can we do this better?

At Quad ABA, the answer is yes.

Guided by the principles of Quality, Unique, Affirming, and Diverse care, Heather focuses on building real-life skills that matter — communication, connection, and independence — while respecting each child’s individuality. She is a strong advocate for ethical, compassionate ABA that supports growth without suppressing identity.

Heather is also deeply passionate about collaboration and believes children make the greatest progress when all of the important people in their lives work together. She values strong, open partnerships with parents and caregivers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, doctors, psychologists, school personnel, and any and every other member of a child’s support team. By bringing stakeholders together, she works to create consistent, individualized care that reflects each child’s needs, strengths, and goals.

Quad ABA isn’t just another ABA provider — it’s a commitment to doing things differently, and doing them right.
